This boldly striped broad brimmed hat is from the Baron Raglan collection. Fitzroy Richard Somerset, the 4th Baron Raglan served in the Grenadier Guards between 1913 and 1919 in North Africa, principally in the Sudan. Presumably that is where this hat was collected.
