I have had this piece for many years and it has always amused me. The wag I bought it from gave it its rather apt moniker of "Daffy Duck meets Bambi". It surely is a fragment from a rather grand and unusual carpet but I have not seen comparable examples.
condition is not wonderful and we have thus priced it appropriately.
