Western Australian Aboriginal Shield

The surface of this elegant tall shield is carved with fine parallel grooves etched vertically and oblique in the middle. The grooves are decorated with alternating wide white and red ocher lines. On the front, near the bottom, "Pulleine Coll"in small lettering is inscribed in black ink.
