vertical bands of diagonal stripes

Vertical bands of diagonal stripes make up the design. The stripes in each band vary in width and pitch creating a visually interesting and dynamic design. Geometric designs were popular in Europe in the 1920’s led by the Bauhaus who were leading exponents of colour theory. The colours here are harmonious based on a progression of colours in the same colour family with just a waving line of green to enliven the stripes.
