Kimono

Once again covered by a ryusui, stream design, the effect of the design on this kimono is entirely different. The vigorous quality is lost and the water flow is much calmer and lethargic. The larger scale and the wider bands give the impression of a slow moving river as opposed to the gurgling sprightliness of a mountain stream conveyed in the previous example.
