Cameroon Bamileke Headdress

This whimsical hat is crocheted from a fibre twine, the surface of the hat is decorated with raised knots of the same fiber. Elephant hair sprouts from the three "fingers" that protrude from the crest of the hat. The strands of hair are decorated with multi coloured beads and two jaunty red feathers add a touch of colour.
