This intriguing and dramatic tunic is completely covered in porcupine quills, front and back. The quills are attached to a woven fibre base. These tunics worn to dance either by hunters or warriors preparing to go forth. This accompanying cap is made of crocheted fibre decorated with cowrie shells and two rows of porcupine quills; one on top with full quills, one underneath with cut quills.
